Since 2007, Enchanted Makeovers’ mission has been to transform homeless shelters for women and children into places that inspire behavioral and psychological change. Through our various projects, mentoring programs and makeovers of the physical space, women and children are introduced to a way of thinking that helps to shift their outlook about their lives and possibilities for the future. The shelter is transformed into a “beacon of hope”. Mentoring programs such as the“Sacred Sewing Room”, “Stepping into theDream”and “Capes for Kids” develop important life and coping skills. Please help support Enchanted Makeovers’mission with your tax-deductible donation of $10, $20 or $50. Enchanted Makeovers is embodied by the work and spirit of Terry Grahl (EM’s Chief Executive Officer and Visionary), as she aspires to be something instead of just doing something. It’s not a series of “decorating projects” — it is a movement to transform not only the lives of the women and children who are rebuilding their lives in shelters but also to transform those who participate in the giving. This profound shift in the traditional view of philanthropy and the communication of it is the essence of Enchanted Makeovers. See Enchanted Makeovers in action in this video!
